A Day in Giethoorn

We set off early in the morning and embarked on our journey to Giethoorn. Known as the "Venice of the North," this village is free from the noise of cars and roads, with only crisscrossing waterways and small boats gliding through them. We explored on foot, crossing one wooden bridge after another, admiring the thatched-roof houses and gardens along the canals. Time seemed to stand still as we immersed ourselves in the tranquility and beauty around us. By evening, as the setting sun tinted the sky with color, we still found it hard to leave this beautiful haven. #mytraveldiary
