ZUGSPITZE MOUNTAIN

The Zugspitze is Germany's highest mountain, standing at 2,962 meters (9,718 feet) above sea level. It is located in the Bavarian Alps, near the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and close to the Austrian border. Known for its breathtaking views and unique alpine landscape, the Zugspitze offers a panoramic view that stretches across four countries: Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland, on clear days. The mountain is a popular destination for skiing, snowboarding, and hiking, as well as for sightseeing. It has a glacier on its summit, which enables year-round skiing, and multiple cable car options provide easy access to the top. The Zugspitze also has a weather station and an observation platform.
