My 1st time to snowy mountain, this place in Germany set a very high bar

#europetravel My most memorable nature trip in Germany has to be Zugspitze. It’s the highest mountain in Germany. But it’s shared by both Germany and Austria. So on top of the mountain, we are able to see the cable car station on both sides. Do find your way to check out the Austrian side restaurant, it is more vibey (the german side is more modern trendy). The lake down there, Eibsee is a must-go too. It’s not huge. One full round is doable in an hour plus. But surely, you’d wanna take a lot of photo, so you should expect maybe 2hours. I personally think one should leave 2days for Zugspitze. One for the view, and the other for skiing experience. If you’re a solo traveler, there is a very worthy combo tix that combines cable car tix with train tix from Munich. The earlier train would be able to seamlessly connect to the first departing cable car to go up to the mountain. 📍Address: Zugspitze, Eibsee
