The first few Penang Michelin one-star restaurant

2023 is the first year where by Michelin guide set foot in Malaysia, and we are delighted to have 4 One-starred restaurant, 2 in Penang and 2 in Kuala Lumpur. Auntie Gaik Lean, being one of the nominated one, is a restaurant specialized in Nyonya delicacies, so we took the opportunity to try it before it is fully booked. We ordered several dishes such as pickeled vege duck soup, sambal brinjal, assam fish, nyonya platter and nyonya style fried chicken. Taste is superb and not too oily or hot, everything is cooked with harmonious taste. Dessert is good as well. Be sure to book now as you can hardly be given a place now for walk ins. #tripblazers
