Cosy homey stay at Macalister 288, Penang

Macalister 288 is a boutique hotel located at 288 Jalan Macalister in George Town, just about a km or so from the centre…. The four storey hotel features modern minimalist decor, and is a perfect stay for those wanting to be near the town area…. Checking in was a breeze and there is a house elevator provided for the guests’ convenience…. as well as parking space… The rooms were pretty spacious and my deluxe king room came with a huge king bed (or two super single beds joined together), a wardrobe and a balcony with sitting area… there’s instant coffee, tea, mugs and a glass jug in every room for you to take water …. They have a water filter for you to get your water and drinks from on every floor as well as an ironing station…. Rooms are comfortable and clean and perfect for a few days stay when you are in Penang for a break or for work…. There is a vending machine with snacks and beverages on the ground floor.
