#europetrip Monument to Antoni Suchanek - a Polish painter and mariner who was born in 1901 in Rzeszów (died in 1982 in Gdynia). His paintings often concerned the sea, from the perspective of Kamienna Gora and Kepa Oksywska. A bench dedicated to the memory of Antoni Suchanek, an outstanding painter from Ortowo, fascinated with maritime themes, is located in the square named after him. It stands near the Ortowo pier, in a place where he liked to paint. The author of the sculpture is Zdzistaw Koseda.
