🛩 Arriving at Gatwick Airport gave me a surprise - immigration procedures were completed in 20 minutes. 🛂 Take the shuttle train from the North Terminal to the South Terminal in the blink of an eye. Follow the signs, take the elevator downstairs, walk a few steps, and the car rental point is in front of you. 🚗 Our self-driving tour starts here, and the car will be returned here at the end, then take the express to Victoria Station, which can be done in 30 minutes. 🚆 🚇 London Underground, a labyrinthine existence, but I have a secret weapon - Google Maps. Follow it, and I can find a way out in the complex subway lines. 🛣 🌳 Hyde Park, just opposite Lancaster Gate Station, there are cute squirrels here to greet us every day. Hyde Park and Kensington Park are neighbors, separated by a small river, and water birds gather on the river. 🐿️ 🏰 Big Ben and Westminster Palace, magnificent, amazing. In the afternoon, the backlight on the bridge makes them more mysterious, and the small green space in front is the perfect background for the light. 🌲 🏛️ The British Museum, must go in the morning 🌅, fewer people, better photo and tour experience. When we left at two o'clock in the afternoon, the museum was already crowded. 📸 🌉 London Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, although a bit far away, their characteristics are irresistible. The Natural History Museum and the V&A Museum are neighbors, and the whale skeleton here is a check-in point for everyone. Remember to make an appointment, otherwise the queue will make you wait until the flowers are gone. 🐾 🏰 Buckingham Palace, crowded with people, the royal guards are not as good as our People's Liberation Army, but the changing of the guard ceremony still attracts countless eyes. 👮‍♂️ 🍽️ About eating, we have a few recommendations. The breakfast shop near the hotel is full of fireworks, and three people eat 24 pounds. Chinese food near the British Museum, the price is average. Mediterranean restaurant near Paddington Station, delicious.
