First stop is Zao'er Lane, one of the six ancient streets of Ganzhou, featuring the most representative ancient buildings and bluestone roads. After leaving Zao'er Lane, you come to the ancient city wall, which has been filled with the smoke of life for a thousand years. Inside and outside the city wall, there are many authentic snack stalls, and from atop the wall, you can see the scenery inside and outside the city, as well as the Gong River and the floating bridge in full view. Coming out of the city wall is the Donghe Floating Bridge, an ancient floating bridge in Ganzhou, officially named Huimin Bridge. The bridge is about 400 meters long, connecting the two ends of the Gong River, and is made up of more than 100 small boats tied together with ropes. It was built during the Qiandao period of the Song Dynasty (1163—1173) and has a history of over 800 years. The entire floating bridge is divided into 33 sections, connected by ropes, and then fixed above the river surface with steel cables and iron anchors. In the past, when the Gan River's water transport was busy, the bridge would open once at 9:00 am and again at 4:00 pm every day to allow ships to pass through. The bridge is bustling with people coming and going, with small stalls and fishing boats doing business, making it very lively. At night, you can visit the Yugu Terrace Historical and Cultural District. The district is large, and the night view is very beautiful. Walking through it is like stepping into the Song Dynasty city of the south of the Yangtze River, with many girls in ancient costumes taking photos, which is really photogenic. For dinner, you can go to the Hakka Courtyard. The entire restaurant is very characteristic, with an ancient building inside. The cuisine mainly features Jiangxi Hakka dishes, and the taste is also very good.
