Weekend Trip｜Ganzhou｜A Highly Playable Treasure City

A two-day, one-night weekend trip to Ganzhou is finally arranged❗️ DAY 1️⃣ 🚄Shenzhen-Ganzhou West arrives at 9:40 Hotel—Wanda Plaza (Lunch)—Tongtianyan Scenic Area 4A (13:30-17:00)—Jiupin Tianxiang (Dinner)—Song Dynasty Night City DAY 2️⃣ Yongjin Gate—Floating Bridge—Songcheng Park—Jianchun Gate—Bajing Park—Yugutai Park 🚄Ganzhou West—Shenzhen returns at 15:00 🏞️Attractions: ✅Tongtianyan Scenic Area: 🎫30/person The main attractions in the scenic area include Tongtianyan, Cuiwei Rock, Wanggui Rock, Tongxin Rock, Guangfu Temple, Yushui Pool, Yuyan Pavilion, Xichun Pavilion, and Qunyu Pavilion. If you have good stamina, it is recommended to climb to Qunyu Pavilion for a bird's-eye view of the entire Ganzhou. There are cat nests placed near the Tongtianyan Temple, with many cats lazily lying around. The scenic area is really large, and it takes half a day to walk around. We went to the farthest point, Dripping Water Guanyin, and then returned the same way, taking more than three hours in total. ❗️Tips: There are not many tourists in the scenic area. It is recommended to go to slightly remote attractions with companions. The maze looks abandoned for a while and is quite scary overall. The steps down from Dripping Water Guanyin are blocked, and we didn't dare to enter the small path in the bamboo forest next to it, so we returned the same way. 🌟The cultural and creative store next to the first grotto in Jiangnan sells mineral water for 3 yuan per bottle and Sprite for 5 yuan per bottle. Other scenic spots have aunties selling mineral water for 5 yuan per bottle, which is also reasonable. ✅Song Dynasty Night City There are performances at night, and there are many tourists. Many sisters change into floral hairpins and ancient costumes for photos, which look beautiful. There are many shops around to choose from. ✅Jiangnan Songcheng Historical and Cultural Tourism Area The attractions are all within the cultural tourism area, and you can choose the starting point according to your preferences. I started from Yongjin Gate and walked all the way. There is a morning market at Jianchun Gate in the morning, which is full of life. In Bajing Park, many uncles and aunts sing, practice musical instruments, and exercise. Bajing Terrace and Yugutai are both great for photos (Yugutai is right next to Song Dynasty Night City). Tips: Because the Confucian Temple and Wei Family Courtyard were being renovated on the weekend, we didn't go. We also didn't have time to visit Zao'er Alley due to the hot weather and tight schedule. It is best to visit when the weather is cooler and take your time to stroll around. 🥘Food Overall, the cost performance is very high, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are large. Both restaurants we ate at were great. It was too hot, so we didn't have lunch on the second day. ✅Jiupin Tianxiang (Yudu Road Store) I recommend this restaurant. There were no seats when we arrived, but the owner was very nice. There was a table packing up, so we were allowed to order first and sit at the reserved table to wait. The dishes are freshly cooked. Since we can't eat spicy food, the owner specially noted to make it mildly spicy for us. The taste of the dishes was very good, and the wok hei was strong. Go early, or the signature dishes will be gone.
