Mount Cook and Tasman Glacier

Mount Cook, located on New Zealand's South Island, is the country's highest peak. Mount Cook National Park is renowned for its stunning alpine scenery, glaciers, and glacial lakes. We took a shuttle to Tasman Glacier Lake, passing through vast grasslands with distant views of snow-capped mountains—an incredibly picturesque journey. For someone from the tropics like me, taking a boat ride on the glacial lake was a novel experience. Watching the crystal-clear ice chunks being lifted from the lake and getting up close to the glacier's edge was both fascinating and fun.
