A scenic classic hotel

This is the hotel where my mother stayed with my grandmother, taking my little brother. She still can't remember why they came all the way to Gamagori, bypassing Hakone and Atami, but I'm sure my grandmother must have selected it after seeing a feature in Kateigaho magazine about it as "the hotel beloved by Emperor Showa." Although it's hard to hide the feeling that it's been passed down through time in places, this small, scenic, classic hotel was perfect for a quiet summer. We left right after lunch, so we had the luxury of having the lounge all to ourselves. #AichiTrip
