The Past and Present of Fuzhou Gonghe No.1 Tea Harbor Block

The Fuzhou Gonghe No.1 Tea Harbor Block consists of six historical buildings and one cultural relic building, surrounding the central Qionghua Park. The buildings include Tongtai Building, Gongyu Building, Zhongyue Building, Jianqia Building, Jiyong Building, Hechang Building, and Yingrun Building. This was the site of Fuzhou's first "Chunji Tea House," from which large quantities of tea were exported to Europe, America, and Southeast Asia via the Fanchuanpu Wharf. Now, the block is home to trendy restaurants and tea houses, revitalizing these historic structures. It is no longer just a memory of Fuzhou's glorious past, but a cultural treasure moving towards the future.
