The park's rippling waters are back

It's been a while! The pond is full of rippling water! I remember that just a few days after New Year's Day, the park's lake was completely drained, and the silt at the bottom of the lake was plowed over like a field ~ for a while, there were always a dozen or so egrets standing on the dry lakebed, either foraging or playing, which was quite a sight. And so, I spent the whole gray January looking at the dry lakebed every day. I didn't expect that on the first Monday after the holiday, I would feel a completely different vitality as soon as I entered the park: the sky was particularly bright, the leaves were particularly fresh, the pavilions were particularly elegant, and the grass seemed particularly fragrant. I even vaguely heard the cheerful singing of birds... After walking a few more steps, I realized: oh, that's why! The lake is full of spring water again, with green waves rippling, spring returning to the earth, and spring tides rising! The lake is full of rippling water, playfully surging back and forth in the warm morning light of early spring, eager to sing and dance. After all, spring is here! Where does the birdsong come from? Oh, there's a new fountain in the center of the South Lake, with water shooting up into the air and gracefully falling like lotus petals in all directions. The splashing water reflects dazzling golden light in the sunlight. The sound of water can be heard throughout half of the park, making people feel happy. Looking east, the newly built tall buildings stand tall, with high cranes on the rooftops reaching into the clouds, like swords pointing to the corner of the sky. Now is the time to aim high, seize the day and embrace spring. Monday, February 10, 2025
