The lotus buds in Fuzhou's Teahouse Park are just beginning to peek out

Summer has just begun, and the lotus leaves in the park seem to have grown lush overnight, which is quite magical. Despite this, they are currently only swaying on one side of the lake ~ I wonder if it's deliberately arranged this way ~ because there are large blank spaces in the middle of several lakes in the park. Perhaps, it's inspired by the concept of leaving blank spaces in Chinese painting. The pavilions by the lake are packed with photography enthusiasts carrying their long and short lenses. And in the middle of the lake, apart from a lonely tree trunk that has split into a few branches and is devoid of leaves, there is nothing. What are they all waiting for? Walking around the park for a good while, I quietly enjoyed the green of the lotus, patches of green both deep and light, a sight that was delightful. However, I did not see a single dragonfly on the lotus...
