This is the oldest wooden structure in southern China

Hualin Temple is the oldest wooden structure in southern China, a landmark building. 📍Address: No. 78 Hualin Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou City. South of Pingshan, Gulou District, Fuzhou, east of the gate of the provincial government, the original site is about 14 meters west and 8 meters north, located within the walls of the Fujian Provincial Government. 🚗Transportation: Take Metro Line 1 to Pingshan Station, then walk. 🗓Opening hours: 9:00–17:00, closed on Mondays 👍️Must-see attractions: 1. Main Hall: The platform is high, with three bays and four rooms, and the first room has no walls, similar to a side step. Looking up, the dougong is huge, with a Tang Dynasty style. 2. Inside the Main Hall: The column network structure is clear, without the use of the later common method of moving columns. Looking up at the Main Hall, the structure is fully exposed, with the entire beam structure visible. The overall structure includes two horizontal and two vertical beams, forming a standard tic-tac-toe structure, with eight purlins in depth. 3.
