Fu Forest Trail

It was such a wonderful experience to live in Fuzhou for the last 4 years. People are very kind and I visited many places. Fu forest was the last place I visited, while I was staying there in Fuzhou. It was such a wonderful place to walk calm and relax. while walking we can hear a wonderful sounds of variety of birds. You can see the full view of the city from that place. After dusk the view from the top looks amazing. #trekking #china #fuzhou #mountainview #climbing

Shangxia Hang Historical Street

Step Into Living History at Shangxia Hang Historical Street 🚶♂️🏮 Discover a vibrant slice of Fuzhou’s heritage at Shangxia Hang Historical Street, where centuries-old charm blends seamlessly with modern life. Expect striking ancient facades, atmospheric alleys, and bustling storefronts that echo the vibe of a once crucial waterway for goods transport. 🗺️ Route & Must-Do Experiences: Start at the Xiahang Road entrance and stroll down the main street. Be sure to check out renovated buildings that preserve intricate wooden doors, exposed brick, and vintage shopfronts. Pop into the boutique stores and teahouses—many feature local crafts and Fujian tea with a contemporary twist. Sample classic street food like Fuzhou fish balls from old-school vendors nestled beside trendy coffee shops. 📸 Insta-Worthy Spots: Snap dramatic photos of the restored storehouses with their arched windows and nostalgic lanterns in the evening glow. The curved bridges over the ancient canal are perfect for evocative waterway shots; they showcase the blend of old and new that defines Shangxia Hang. 🕒 Visiting Tips: Early mornings (before 10 AM) are blissfully quiet—perfect for people-free architecture shots. Evenings bring a lively crowd and dazzling lights, ideal for capturing the hustle. Many shops open by 9 AM and close around 10 PM, but the street itself is open all day. evening before dusk is good timing as can see lightings slower comes up. ⚠️ Key Precautions: Wear comfy shoes; the stone paving gets slippery after rain. Some alleys are quite narrow and can get crowded quickly—keep personal items secure. If you’re sensitive to crowds, avoid weekends. #Fuzhou #HistoryWalk #ChinaTravel #HiddenGems #StreetPhotography
