Ascending Gushan, the city of Banyan appears like a mirage over the sea

Gushan is located in the eastern part of Jin'an District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, on the north bank of the Minjiang River, about 8 kilometers away from the city center, and is one of the most famous scenic spots in Fuzhou. Gushan is a national AAAA level tourist attraction and a national scenic spot. In May 2002, Fujian Gushan Scenic Spot was approved by the State Council to be included in the fourth batch of national scenic spots. The Gushan Scenic Area is centered on the ancient Yongquan Temple, with more than 20 scenic spots such as Huilong Pavilion and Lingyuan Cave to the east; dozens of scenic spots in the west, among which the eighteen scenic spots are particularly famous; more than 50 scenic spots such as Luohan Terrace and Incense Burner Peak to the south; and 45 scenic spots such as Datong Peak and Baiyun Cave to the north. These attractions are mainly formed by granite through long-term erosion, weathering, collapse, and accumulation, with various shapes, forming natural landscapes such as Pantao Forest, Liu Hai Fishing Toad, Jade Bamboo Peak, Eight Immortals Rock and Drinking Water Rock. In addition, there are many cliff carvings from past dynasties.
