Suikyo Tenmangu Shrine

#fukuokatrip Fujiwara no Michizane is enshrined as a God of literature here in Suikyo shrine. The local place name "Tenjin" is derived from the name of this shrine. There were a few people and it was quite when I visited here. It seemed people drop in at Suikyo shrine to pray academic achievement.Small temple but quite relaxing. A quite area in the middle of the city. They also is some fish there.
