Summer Self-Drive Tour in Xinjiang: Tianshan Tianchi

The Tianshan Tianchi under the Bogda Peak is the last stop of our summer self-drive tour. It is less than 80 kilometers from the Tianchi scenic area entrance to the Urumqi Diwopu Airport, which is convenient for our return trip. "Beside the Tianchi, a peach banquet" is a beautiful legend, but the precious blue beauty of Xinjiang's Tianchi is truly right before our eyes. The lake water is like a giant luminous eel swimming, with the sparkling waves reflecting the azure sky and the majestic surrounding peaks. 🚶Touring methods: a. Boat experience: Get close to the water of Tianchi and feel the gentleness and romance of the flowing lake. b. Climbing Maya Mountain: The magnificent peak beside Tianchi, with beautiful views at every step of the climb. Occasionally, you can see a campsite under construction, and perhaps next time you can stay by the lake or at a mid-mountain campsite to experience the changing stars at dawn and dusk. As you ascend, the view becomes increasingly open, and the distant snow-capped mountains shine with sacred light under the sun. If you don't want to climb, you can also take the cable car up. c. Hiking to Feilongtan: The waterfall cascades down like the Milky Way, forming a dreamlike mist.
