Amazing Fraser Island

Fraser Island is a unique island in Queensland, Australia. It's unique because it's a sand island, and yet trees have managed to grow here in the sand. Something that doesn't happen anywhere else on the planet. You can reach it by ferry from the mainland, but you'll have to make sure you have a four wheel drive as the sand is difficult to drive on. Instead you can join one of the tours that uses converted trucks. On the island you can enjoy gorgeous views of the forests as well as the beaches. You may spot some wildlife such as the indigenous dingo if you are lucky. Or you can go for a swim at the Salt Lake in the middle of the island.
