I had a great Lantern Festival in Foshan

🔆 I had a great Lantern Festival in Foshan this year. I have another reason to like Guangdong. Let me share my itinerary over the past two days. ✅ Ancestral Temple ▶️ The lion dance performance at the Ancestral Temple was what I was looking forward to the most on this trip to Foshan. We watched the earliest show (10:00–10:30). There were already a lot of people, and since it was still the holiday, there were no seats left if you came a little late. ▶️ To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the lion dance performance. Although they performed very well, it was not so pure because of the commercialization. But since I was already there, it was still worth seeing. ▶️ After watching the lion dance, you can also visit the Huang Feihong Memorial Hall, Ye Wen Hall, and other places, all of which are in the Ancestral Temple. ✅ Lingnan Tiandi ▶️ You can reach Lingnan Tiandi by exiting through the door near the lion dance. It is a great place to visit and is perfect for young people to check in and take photos. The word "Foshan" is also here. ▶️ There are many things to eat, but they are generally expensive. I highly recommend 📌 No. 3 Coffee House, a coffee shop with a great atmosphere. There were not many people at noon, and the combination of its bowl cover coffee and Lingnan-style walls was really impressive! ✅ Xianxing Bookstore (Chuihong Road Branch) ▶️ I really like this bookstore. It is located under a residential building. The large floor-to-ceiling glass windows look great, and the coffee is delicious. In addition to coffee and milk tea, the store also has various cultural and creative products and gadgets. It is a great place to visit and is worth going to. It is also a great place to read and relax. I recommend it. ✅ Nanfeng Kiln ▶️ This place seems to be a check-in spot for people from other places. I saw other bloggers recommend it and thought it was great, but I was very disappointed. ▶️ The place is not big, but the ticket costs 25 💰. You can finish visiting it in one round. ▶️ I was attracted by the pictures on the roof, but there was a huge billboard next to it, which was really an eyesore. ▶️ There are many porcelain shops on the street. If you like porcelain, you can come and have a look. If you are not interested in porcelain, you can skip this place. 🍜 Food ▶️ I went to Dengmanyuan. The steamed pork ribs were delicious. I ordered steamed pork ribs, red onion chicken, pig blood soup with wolfberry, and dry mixed noodles. They all tasted good and were not disappointing. ▶️ I also ate at Youji 📌. The white cut pork knuckle, roast goose, and barbecued pork were all good. ▶️ Yuanlulu Dessert This was just average. It was just like an ordinary dessert shop. ‼️ Overall, I still like Foshan very much. Especially the unexpected encounter with Xingtongji yesterday, which brought unforgettable memories to my trip. I hope I can come again next time!
