#2024TravelReview The Norwegian name of the Miracle Stone, Kjeragbolten, is a combination of Kjerag, the deepest mountain in the Lysefjord, and bolten. There is a rock that is stuck in the cliff and hangs above the Lysefjord. Bolten means embedded. It is called the Miracle Stone because it is considered a miracle of nature. This boulder is approximately 5 square meters and is 984 meters above sea level. Miracle 🪨Below is the beautiful Lysefjord. The Miracle Rock is only 9 kilometers away, and it usually takes about 5 hours to go back and forth. The distance and time are much shorter than the Devil's Tongue, but you need to go up and down 3 hills and it is steeper. There are iron chains to help on dangerous sections. It is recommended to climb in June-August (the rest of the month because the ice and snow have not melted). If it rains and the conditions are slippery, it is recommended to give up climbing and take a walk nearby instead. The climbing route to Miracle Rock is very clear, and the signs along the way are very clear. As long as you follow the signs and the red T-shirts, you will basically not get lost. If it really rains or the rock wall is wet, it is also very therapeutic to walk around some safe sections without climbing to the top. This time I completed a very scary challenge - taking photos standing on the Miracle Rock (taking small steps and "jumping" onto the Miracle Rock from behind the rock)! On the way back, there were many tourists’ stone piles along the way.
