The Fontainebleau palace

#springwander The Fontainebleau Palace, which the famous Napoleon loved. This is the largest palace in France, where successive kings have lived. Because it is surrounded by vast forests, it is also a place where the king visited to hunt. This used to be a small building used for hunting, but in 1528, François I added a nearby fortress where it was originally located and built the largest Renaissance palace in France. After that, it was devastated by the French Revolution, but Napoleon, who became emperor, regained its lustre.
