Most Visited Landmarks: Piazza Duomo- also known as the Cathedral Square, you can find these landmarks: 1. The Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore- an Italian Gothic Cathedral, the iconic site in Florence, admission is free. But if you want to climb up the Dome and get to the bell tower, you must buy the Grande Museo del Duomo pass which costs for Adults: € 30. Children (between 7 and 14): € 12 while children under 6 years old get in for FREE! Operating Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:15 AM to 4:45 PM and closed on Sundays. 2. The Baptistery of San Giovanni Battista- Romanesque Architecture, if you are curious to see the beautiful interior of the hall, the entrance fee is 4 euros. Operating Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:15 am - 10:15 am and from 11:15 am until 7:30 pm Saturday: 8:15 am - 6:30 pm Sunday and the first Saturday of every month: 8:15 am – 1:30 pm. 3. The Campanile di Giotto- is the Florence Cathedral bell tower, built by Giotto de Bondone and completed by Andrea Pisano in the year of 1359. TOWER Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. After visiting these sites, take a walk and go visit Piazzale Michelangelo, you can spend hours just relaxing and basking in the panoramic view of the City. How to get there if you do not want to walk? Take the buses 12 or 13, which will drop off directly in the square.
