Grindelwald, Switzerland: Jungfrau Travel Guide

🇨🇭Jungfrau, one of the most famous peaks in the Swiss Alps. There are usually two routes to Jungfrau from Grindelwald. 1️⃣Grindelwald → Eiger Express Cable Car → Kleine Scheidegg → Jungfrau Take the Eiger Express Cable Car (the latest high-speed cable car) from Grindelwald to Eiger Glacier Station in just 15 minutes. Transfer to the Jungfrau cogwheel train at Eiger Glacier Station and go directly to Jungfrau Station (Jungfraujoch). Total time: approx. 1.5 hours. Recommended because: It's faster, and you can enjoy spectacular views from the panoramic cable car. 2️⃣Grindelwald → Kleine Scheidegg → Jungfrau Take the train from Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg (approx. 40 minutes). Transfer to the Jungfrau cogwheel train at Kleine Scheidegg and go directly to Jungfrau Station (approx. 40 minutes). Total time: approx. 2 hours. Recommended because: You can enjoy more valley views along the train route. ✅Must-see attractions at Jungfrau Sphinx Observatory 360-degree panoramic views of the Alps and Aletsch Glacier. Ice Palace An ice palace carved inside the glacier with various ice sculptures on display. Snow Fun Park Experience skiing and hiking in winter.
