I was able to see the tannery factory from the balcony of a shop that sells leather products. The white cauldron is a liquid containing lime and dung, which is used to bleach leather. The brown cauldron contains a palette of dyes for dyeing leather. The color is apparently created using plants. *We recommend wearing a mask. 12•13•14 Boo. Madrasah Inania This is an Islamic seminary built in the 14th century. It was built by King Abu Inan of the Marinid dynasty, an Islamic state that existed in Morocco. As a non-Muslim, I can only visit the courtyard. 15•16 Bou Jloud Gate It is located on the west side of the old town and is the entrance to the maze. If you don't want to get lost, walk straight down the main street and avoid turning into narrow streets such as side streets.
