Phoenix Mountain in Dandong—The "Number One Mountain" of Eastern Liaoning

⛰️ The Phoenix Mountain Scenic Area in Liaoning Province is a national scenic spot, one of the four famous mountains in Liaoning, located 57 kilometers northwest of Dandong City, 213 kilometers north of Shenyang City, and 300 kilometers southwest of Dalian City, covering an area of 24 square kilometers. The main body of Phoenix Mountain is composed of granite, with a unique landscape. It has been known since ancient times as the "Number One Famous Mountain in Eastern Liaoning". During the Daoguang period (1821-1850), it was named along with Qianshan, Yiwulu Mountain, and Yaoshan as the "Four Great Famous Mountains of Fengtian Province" and "China's Number One Adventurous Mountain" with its main attractions being the dangerous mountains, beautiful waters, border fortresses, forest areas, and folk customs. 🏔️ Phoenix Mountain is located in Fengcheng City, Dandong, Liaoning Province.
