The Ritz Carlton is a romantic hotel in the Maldives with five-star service. The hotel opened in June 2021 and can be reached by a 45-minute luxury boat ride or a 10-minute seaplane ride. The hotel has five room types with a total of 100 rooms, of which the water house is cheaper than the sand house. The structure of the water house is very special, the whole water house is circular and the pool is also oval, giving a warm feeling. Rooms range in size from 150 to 400 square meters. All of the hotel’s rooms face the sea, taking full advantage of the Indian Ocean and never missing out on any ounce of the sea. The water house also has its own escalator that leads directly into the sea, completely feeling the owner’s private waters. The hotel has 7 restaurants and 2 bars. La Locanda offers Italian-inspired cuisine, Summer Pavilion and Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurants, lwau offers Japanese-style restaurants, Beach Shack offers Mediterranean cuisine, Eau Bar offers afternoon tea and mesmerizing sunsets while lounging by the sea, Arabesque offers street food from Lebanon and northern India, and Tum Tum is a food cart serving food from across Asia. The most eye-catching feature of the hotel is its spa, which is situated in the heart of the sea with a huge circular ring with hollow structures in the middle, with a secluded vibe.
