[Fukui x Eiheiji] The lecture hall where sermons are given, a national important cultural property

📍Eiheiji Lecture Hall 5-15 Shibi, Eiheiji-cho, Yoshida-gun, Fukui Prefecture, inside Eiheiji ✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲✲ Lecture Hall where sermons are given A reconstructed building from the end of the Edo period, the sermons by the head priest of Eiheiji, the morning devotions, and various memorial services are held here. It is designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan, within the hall is 420 tatami mats, the largest of the seven halls!! The Bodhisattva Kannon is enshrined in the center. It was a spectacular sight to see a memorial service being held for monks in training.
