[Fukui Prefecture/Eiheiji Town] You're missing out if you don't go here! A complex run by a famous sake brewery

𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐩*⋆✈Fukui𓂃 𓈒𓏸Eiheiji Town ESHIKOTO On March 16th, the Hokuriku Shinkansen extended to Fukui Prefecture🚄✨ I thought it was still a long way off, but it finally opened I got on the first day and went to Fukui! It was a direct train, about 3 hours. I was planning to take a nap, but I was talking and before I knew it, we were there. lol At Fukui Station, the people of Fukui greeted me so warmly that I wondered if I was a celebrity🥹🚄! I really felt that the opening of the Shinkansen was something everyone had been waiting for🥺 Limited to 180 tickets? I received a commemorative boarding pass and a Kiyoken bento packed with Fukui specialties 🙏 The first place I went to after arriving at Fukui Station was ESHIKOTO in Eiheiji-cho. It is a complex managed by the domestically and internationally popular Kuroryu Sake Brewery. There are two buildings, the Shuraku Building and the Garyu Building, and the Shuraku Building is a single-story building on stilts, built at a height overlooking the Kuzuryu River, with a stylish glass exterior. I visited the restaurant "acoya" in ESHIKOTO, where Fukui Prefecture and GODIVA are teaming up to hold a one-day evening party to celebrate the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen. Why Fukui Prefecture and GODIVA? I thought so, but when the president of GODIVA came to Japan for the first time, he visited Eiheiji Temple in Eiheiji Town, and it seems that the collaboration was realized through that connection 🫢 Chocolate made with buckwheat seeds from Fukui and chocolate made with habutae mochi, do they really go together...? I was skeptical, but it was so delicious that I was moved...! The plates with the original design, Echizen ware with the GODIVA café logo engraved on them, were so stylish 🥺💞💞 The parfait was only available on this day, but the marriage of mandarin oranges and chocolate was really delicious 😭 Next time I'd like to visit ESHIKOTO, which is open for business as usual.
