#hellohalloween The Botanist’s Secret During their Halloween week, the Garden hosts storytelling sessions for families — tales about potion plants, witches’ brews, and ancient herbal cures. I took my kids, and they were mesmerized. The storyteller led us through candle-lit paths to a giant sycamore, where he told the legend of the “Weeping Willow Bride.” It was spooky in the gentlest way. Afterwards, we sipped hot chocolate near the café while the garden glowed faintly in the mist. It felt like a folktale come alive.
