Gildonan House Hotel | Experience Elegant Edinburgh

Last month, we traveled to Edinburgh and chose Gildonan House Hotel. The hotel is located at 27 Craigmillar Park, not far from the city center. It is convenient to reach the city center by taxi or bus, but the hotel is far enough away to provide a quiet environment for us to rest. When we arrived at the hotel, we were amazed by the warm reception at the front desk. Check-in was quick, the front desk staff were very friendly, and they even arranged a room with a four-poster bed for us, which was really thoughtful! The hotel is decorated in a classic Victorian style, with a sense of history. The hotel is well-equipped and has free parking, which is a blessing for self-driving travelers. The room experience was also great! The room we stayed in was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to sleep well. The room facilities include a large bathroom and even a jacuzzi, which is a warm touch. The room also offers sherry and shortbread, which is a treat! There are also many recommended places around the hotel. For example, Mary King's Close, the Royal Mile, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse are all great attractions. Walking around these places, you can feel the strong historical atmosphere. There are also some great restaurants nearby, such as Gurkha Bar And Restaurant Edinburgh and Locanda De Gusti, which foodies should not miss. Of course, the hotel also has some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of air conditioning in the room. During the summer heat wave, it can be a bit hot at night, and the windows can only be opened to a limited angle. However, these minor issues did not affect our overall experience. Overall, the experience at Gildonan House Hotel was amazing! Next time I come to Edinburgh, I will definitely choose this place again. ❤️👏
