Fukui Prefecture's famous crabs

Located in Echizen-cho, Nibu-gun. Opened on July 15, 2000. In the museum, you can learn about the entire ecology of the "Echizen crab", watch three-dimensional images that reproduce the conditions in the sea, and of course, you can also taste delicious crabs in the attached restaurant. The most famous crab here is the red crab. We visited the Echizen Crab Museum, which introduced which waters can be used to catch crabs. There is also a simulation game on how to catch crabs, which is suitable for a family visit. The exterior of the museum is themed on the "Echizen crab". The dome of the three-story building in the middle is a crab shell, and the two-story square buildings on both sides symbolize crab legs. In the dome building, the third floor is set as land, the second floor is at a depth of 100 meters, the middle two floors are at a depth of 200 meters, and the first floor is at a depth of 300 meters on the seabed. The visiting order is from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor. It is highly recommended, especially if you like crabs, the price is very cheap.
