We were very lucky yesterday, as we saw the blue fire as soon as we went down. At Ijen, be sure to wear a mask and goggles. It's really risking your life to see the scenery. The sulfur workers here have a hard life, with an average life expectancy of only 40 years. My first impression of Indonesia is that it is simple, optimistic, and enthusiastic. I like it here.
