KOKO.PI OMAH KOPI | RECOMMENDED PLACES FOR ENJOYING COFFEE WITH FRIENDS & FAMILY

At the beginning of July, we kicked off with a weekend afternoon when Spotimin was in the Rawamangun area looking for hidden coffee shops. During the journey, Spotimin noticed many coffee shops already open during this transitional PSBB period. Eventually, on Jalan Sunan Drajad, which is predominantly a residential area, we discovered an eye-catching yellow coffee shop. The coffee shop, named koko.pi omah kopi, is part of a house and features a yellow and black interior theme. Initially, Spotimin thought the shop appeared small from the outside, but upon entering, it turned out to be quite spacious! There is an outdoor smoking area, an air-conditioned indoor area for hanging out with friends, and a synthetic grass lounging area perfect for taking selfies while relaxing with friend. Spotimin took the opportunity to chat with the owners, a couple who have been in the coffee industry for a long time and live nearby. They also have another branch in Rawasari, Central Jakarta. With a strong commitment to serving delicious coffee and introducing specialty coffee in East Jakarta, it's no wonder that Spotimin was delighted with the manual brew we ordered. During our visit, we also tried their signature snacks, which are hard to resist: fried meatballs and fried kebabs, perfect companions for a chat. Additionally, Spotimin recommends the Es Kopi Nenek Kopi, an iced coffee with a hint of coconut flavor. Their various ice-blended drinks are also great for hot days. When visiting this coffee shop, should remember to follow health protocols and keep the lounging area clean.
