My Son Sanctuary - the ruined temples

Location: Duy Phú, Duy Xuyên District, Quảng Nam, Vietnam About 45 mins drive from Hoi An old town, we came to visit the ruined Hindo temples that were constructed between the 4th and the 14th century by the Kings of Champa, an Indianized kingdom of the Cham people (according to Wikipedia :) I have been to a number of Hindu Temples, of which Angkor Wat being the greatest, Bali as well as Thailand Ayutthaya, there almost resemble some similarities in somewhere or what not. My Son Sanctuary was considered a smaller scale with 7 sites, (B,C,D is the biggest complex of the ruins) if I could compare, but it's still worth a visit. Tickets cost 150.000 VND for adults and 40.000 VND for children. There are few ways to get here, but we have hired a local driver that makes our time more flexible to travel from one place to another. I shall share more places that we visited in my next posts. #celebratewithtrip
