【Xining Accommodation Recommendation】 H Hotel

On our last day in Xining, we stayed at H Hotel (Central Plaza Branch), which is located near Central Plaza, the city center of Xining. There are Wangfujing and Shuijing Lane nearby, within walking distance. The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are clean, and the facilities are complete, but compared to the H Hotel we stayed at in Golmud, it lacks the intelligent H Butler. The room type includes breakfast, which is a simple Chinese buffet breakfast. The variety is not as rich as the H Hotel in Golmud, but the taste is okay, and it is filling. We stayed during the summer vacation for over 300 yuan per day, while the regular price is over 200 yuan. Compared to the Starry Lane B&B we stayed at on our first day in Xining, we recommend this hotel more. It is cheaper and has a higher cost-performance ratio. This hotel was the last one we stayed at during our trip to the Northwest. Speaking of which, let me mention the B&Bs we stayed at in Chaka and Dunhuang. We didn't post separately about these two B&Bs not because they were bad, but because we were very satisfied with the other hotels, making these two B&Bs less outstanding in comparison. First, let's talk about Chaka Yunshu Inn, located in Chaka Town. It is easy to find with navigation and is not far from the Chaka No.1 Salt Lake Scenic Area, about 20-30 minutes by car. The B&B is a small courtyard, similar to a farmhouse style. The standard rooms are very small but clean, with all the necessary amenities, including humidifiers and disposable items. Breakfast is served in the small courtyard, with a relatively rich variety. However, we experienced some altitude sickness in the first few days in Qinghai and had no appetite in the morning, so we just had some porridge. The owner and his wife were very enthusiastic, and overall we were satisfied. The summer price is over 300 yuan per day, while the regular price is between 100-200 yuan. Yidunhuang Mountain and B&B is located on a small street with many B&Bs and restaurants, within walking distance to the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring Scenic Area. The owner was very enthusiastic, offering us watermelon every day and taking guests to stargaze at night. He also sent us a Dunhuang food guide and pitfall avoidance guide a day in advance. There are also cats to pet, which my friend loved, hahaha. The rooms are small, and the room type does not include breakfast, but there are food vendors right outside, which is very convenient. The summer price is over 300 yuan per day. Finally, all the B&Bs we stayed at along the way provided disposable items (including disposable bath towels and towels), humidifiers, and kettles. The owners helped with carrying luggage up and down. The service was excellent. However, the hotels did not have humidifiers, so I suggest you ask the hotel in advance. If they don't have one, bring a small portable humidifier yourself. It is really dry, so you must bring a humidifier.
