Sichuan Dujiangyan-Palm Chicken (Old Sichuan Restaurant)

This is an authentic Sichuan restaurant, so friends who can’t eat spicy food may have fewer choices. The signature palm chicken is a dish made with tender chicken and red oil, which is full of fragrance. Sichuan local friends said it was very delicious after eating it. Since I can't eat spicy food, we ordered two non-spicy dishes, golden sand corn and shrimp fried eggs. Although the names are a bit funny, the dishes are really very fragrant and make people salivate. However, I still think the spicy dishes are more outstanding. I feel that the non-spicy dishes are just average. They are fragrant, but I didn’t want to order them again a second time. So I recommend it to friends who like spicy food. The price is moderate. Compared with the cheap prices near Dujiangyan, it is a bit expensive, but compared with Taiwan prices, it is considered cheap food in Taipei. This restaurant has not received high reviews online, mainly because of the poor service. My personal feeling is that the service is just average. Since you scan the QR code to order, you don't have much contact with the waiter, who only comes when the food is delivered. I don't think they are enthusiastic, but not rude either.
