Attraction Introduction Panda Valley is the Dujiangyan Breeding and Wild Release Research Center of the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. Travel Itinerary • Morning: It is recommended to set off early to the scenic area to avoid peak crowds. Upon arrival, first visit the giant panda villa area, where you can observe the life of giant pandas up close, watching them eat bamboo, play, and sleep, and experience the charm of these national treasures. • Noon: Enjoy local delicacies at snack stalls or restaurants in the scenic area, such as panda-themed ice cream, or bring your own food and drinks. • Afternoon: Head to the red panda activity area, where the lively and active red pandas are incredibly cute, foraging and interacting with visitors, adding fun to your trip. Then, take a leisurely stroll in the natural scenery area, enjoy the beautiful mountain and river views, breathe in the fresh air, take photos, and relax. Special Delicacies • Panda Valley Ice Cream: Cute shape with panda patterns, delicate taste, a popular food in the scenic area. • Panda Town Zengzi Rice: Distinct grains of rice with a fragrant aroma, paired with farmhouse dishes such as tofu pudding, spicy blood curd, steamed dishes, and braised dishes, offering authentic flavors that leave a lasting impression. Practical Information • Tickets: Full-price ticket CNY 55, half-price ticket CNY 27, free for children aged 6 and under or under 1.3 meters, free for seniors aged 60 and over, active military personnel, etc. with valid ID. • Opening Hours: March 1–October 31, 07:30–18:00; November 1–December 31 and January 1–February 29, 08:00–17:30. • Transportation: Take the mountain tour minibus to Qingcheng Mountain Scenic Area at Dujiangyan Passenger Transport Center and get off at Panda Valley; or take a taxi from Dujiangyan High-speed Railway Station, or drive to the scenic area, which has a parking lot.
