From Brühl's terrace, the city's panoramic view along the open river unfolded, and the Frauenkirche in the evening glow was impressive in itself. The sculptures and corridors of the Zwinger Palace and the numerous works of art in the museum made me immediately understand why Dresden is called the 'Florence of the Elbe.' As I walked slowly through the city, I felt the righteousness of Dresden, which healed the wounds of war with art.
