New Yuanming Palace - Piano Museum.

The New Changchun Garden (Summer Garden) in the New Yuanming Palace is based on the Changchun Garden in the Yuanmingyuan Garden in Beijing during its heyday. It has both Chinese-style buildings such as Haiyue Kaijin and Lion Forest, and Western-style European palaces and fountains, and has added exquisite characteristic buildings from eight countries including the UK, France, the US, Russia, Japan, Germany, Italy, and Austria, and exotic streets composed of 14 countries including India and Saudi Arabia. It is a royal garden that combines Chinese and Western styles and is stunningly beautiful. The Piano Museum is located in the British Pavilion of the New Changchun Garden (Summer Garden). It brings together all kinds of pianos from ancient times to the present, from China to the West, each of which carries a unique historical story and cultural mark. The collection of pianos in the Piano Museum has now reached nearly 100. Among the collected pianos with clear years (or approximate years), most of them were produced between 1870 and 1930, and more than half of them were produced in the short 20 years from 1890 to 1910. In other words, these pianos are densely distributed at the previous "turn of the century".
