Underrated Treasure Small City｜This Summer Vacation is Already Next Level

This article is dedicated to my favorite 💚New Yuanmingyuan💚 —— 🎈Follow me for a relaxing day in Hengdian, I recommend three attractions which are enough. We visited the Qin Palace, New Yuanmingyuan (Spring Garden), and New Yuanmingyuan (Summer Garden). 🌟The location of each attraction in Hengdian, walking or driving time, can be seen on the last map🗺️ —— ➊ New Yuanmingyuan (Spring Garden): About 1 hour of playtime ▫️New Yuanmingyuan, mainly Chinese palace architecture, gives a sense of the Forbidden City. If you like red walls and palace gardens, you can come and see it. There are very few people. ▫️You can take a boat or rent a car to drive around the garden. Business hours are 08:00-17:00, last entry at 16:30. - ➋ New Yuanmingyuan (Summer Garden): About 2 hours of playtime ▫️New Changchun Garden, mainly Chinese and Eight-Nation architecture. Western-style buildings, the Twelve Zodiac Animal Head Fountain, and the Grand Water Law are all in the Summer Garden, which is stunning to see. 1️⃣Russian Pavilion: 1:1 replica of St. Basil's Cathedral in Russia. 2️⃣Twelve Zodiac: The twelve animal heads spray water in sequence according to the twelve-hour cycle, stopping at 16:00, so it is recommended to arrive early. 3️⃣Grand Water Law: The largest and most spectacular fountain among the Western-style buildings. 4️⃣Five Bamboo Pavilion: I would call it the most photogenic spot in the Summer Garden. It is said to be the place where Emperor Qianlong waited for Xiangfei. Be sure to capture the green building and the Russian building in the same frame. ▫️Business hours are 08:00-17:00, last entry at 17:00. —— ➌ Qin Palace: The number one must-visit attraction in Hengdian. The scenic area has 4D movies and performances, and you can also experience flying to fulfill your martial arts dream. ➍ Ming and Qing Palace Gardens, Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival, Guangzhou Street·Hong Kong Street, Dream Bund, the buildings are as their names suggest. You can choose according to your preferences. ➎ Dream Valley: A large amusement park & water world, open at 15:00 in the afternoon. ➏ Dream Spring Valley: Hot springs & indoor water world, recommended for friends staying in Hengdian.
