"Jiuzhaigou" just 1.5 hours from Shenzhen is perfect for a family stroll

📍Dongguan Shuilianshan Biyu Lake Park This place has been on my must-visit list for a long time Free, outdoors, crystal-clear blue lake, grassland, mining mountain Every element is attracting us to go Just in time for the National Day holiday when my family came to Shenzhen to play I thought of taking them to nearby cities to eat and explore This place was chosen as one of our stops · What can you do here? 1️⃣ Photo check-in The light blue-green lake sparkles under the sunlight, like a glowing jade. My mom, who has been to Jiuzhaigou, said it really looks very similar. Standing on the transparent glass viewing platform by the lake, looking down at the koi and small fish swimming in circles, it truly feels like arriving in a "fairyland." 2️⃣ Walk around the lake The 2km lakeside green trail is the top choice for a stroll or walking with kids. The scenery is beautiful everywhere you look. The white mountain body of the mining mountain across the lake and the water outline a whole landscape painting. It’s really pleasing to the eye while walking ^_^ 3️⃣ Relax on the lawn & picnic We arrived around 4 or 5 pm, and the lake looked very green from afar! Every small section of the lawn had people laying out carpets to sit and picnic, so relaxed and joyful. · 📷 Recommended arrival time is when the sun isn’t too strong, in the morning or afternoon. When the sunlight is soft, the lake’s blue is like a clean mirror, making photos look even better~ · 🚘 Travel tips: If driving, it’s recommended to visit Shuilianshan Biyu Lake Park, Shuilianshan Forest Park (1.8km away), and Tongsha Ecological Park (7.4km away) all together. 😂 Here’s a little funny story: When navigating, we only said Shuilianshan Park, but after parking and walking halfway, we realized something was off. There were mountains, water, and boats, but it wasn’t right. Checking the map, we found out we had gone to Shuilianshan Forest Park, which is 1.8km from Shuilianshan Biyu Lake Park.
