First Time in Dongguan and I Want to Live Here!

My first visit to Dongguan I was really surprised‼ So comfortable that I want to settle down here✌ It completely changed my perception of Dongguan Perfect for a quick two-day, one-night getaway! On the first day, you can visit attractions and then return to the 🏨 hotel to rest, waking up naturally the next day; or spend the first day enjoying afternoon tea 🍰 at the hotel, saving your energy for sightseeing the next day - it's up to you! 📸 Recommended Attractions 🟠 Dongguan Memory A newly renovated arcade street area built with massive investment, it's also Dongguan's new internet-famous photo spot 📷. Inside you'll find various creative shops perfect for leisurely browsing, plus many photo opportunities where every casual shot looks amazing~ 🌳 Qifeng Park The top scenic spot among Dongguan's eight scenic areas, featuring the Northern Song Dynasty "Huangqi Ancient Temple." The park is lush with green trees and abundant vegetation 🍃. I love strolling slowly through it - so comfortable! Many locals come here to relax, giving you a glimpse of everyday life in Dongguan. You can also take photos with the internet-famous bougainvillea by the lake 🌸 🛍 Hyde Mall A recommended spot for food, drinks and entertainment! There are various restaurants nearby, making it the perfect place to rest and eat when you're tired from sightseeing. There's also a Hema supermarket to explore! 🏨 Accommodation Recommendation We chose the conveniently located 🏨 Dongguan Kangdi International Hotel, right next to "Hongfu Road" subway station and Hyde Mall, with a Hema supermarket downstairs. The location is superb, making it convenient for dining and entertainment~ As the city landmark "Gate of Dongguan," ladies, don't miss the night view! Plus, the room windows offer views of the International Trade Building, allowing you to overlook Dongguan's cityscape 🌃 and bustling streets 💫 In the afternoon, I highly recommend visiting Kangdi Coffee in the lobby - both the environment and products are excellent~ The next day, have breakfast at Aspen Western Restaurant, where they serve 🍜 boat congee, noodles, hot dishes, and roast goose! It's nutritious and plentiful - fill up before continuing your exploration of Dongguan~ Schedule a trip to Dongguan sometime - it's perfect for eating, drinking, and leisurely strolling ✌
