Taking the Kids on a Hike up Yinping Mountain

(Highly recommended, as walking 3 km before starting the climb is tiring, and you can also take the bus back down.) ⛰️Start the climb from the left path. I took my two kids, aged 7👦and 9👦, and it took us 2.5 hours to reach the summit. The first 1,000 meters were the most challenging, and we almost gave up, worried about whether we could make it back down, given the kids' limited stamina. However, my worries were unnecessary. After several breaks, the kids adapted and climbed quickly from the 1,500-meter mark. The total climb is 3,000 meters. 🥤There are many vendors selling water along the way (RMB 10 per bottle). Your legs might feel weak near the summit, but it's all worth it. 🍺Remember to take a photo with a "Brave the Horizon" beer can for that iconic shot. ⛰️Descend via the other path, which is steeper. There are almost no vendors selling water on this route. The descent takes about 1.5 hours.
