I took the intercity rail from the station near my home to Xipingxi, then transferred to Metro Line 2. I took a taxi from Xiping Station and arrived in a few minutes. After arriving at the botanical garden, follow the route on the left side of the park. Here's a tip: If you're bringing kids, remember to bring a lightweight stroller. There are many slopes and steps in the park, so pushing a heavy stroller is tiring. I got a little lost because the park's route is quite winding. I felt like I was lost in the beautiful flowers and plants. But it's no big deal if you take the wrong path. Every part of the park is unique and beautiful. One particularly relaxing place is the large lawn. Sitting there on a nice day is so relaxing. The sun shines on the flowers and plants, and my mood instantly improves. But remember to bring a picnic mat. I forgot to bring one, so I couldn't have a comfortable picnic on the large lawn. There's also a special area for kids to play, with slides and swings. The kids had a great time. I spent the whole day there and still didn't finish exploring the botanical garden. It's really big, and some places are hard to reach, especially for people with kids. Next time, I'll bring some food in advance because there are only snacks in the park and almost no other food. If I lived nearby, I'd want to go every day. It's so healing and never gets boring.
