Before coming, I heard that the sunset at Fish Scale Island is one of the three best sunset viewing spots in Hainan, so I chose to stay at Seagull Bay. It's a 10-minute taxi ride from here to the Fish Scale Island Lighthouse, and there are also buses available, but they stop running at 6pm, so you'll need to take a taxi back after watching the sunset.
