📍186 Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea Pyeongyang-Jip is a no-frills, hole-in-the-wall Korean BBQ joint located near the mouth of Yongsan, Seoul. Don't expect galbi or bulgogi- this place specializes in specialty cuts like brisket, intestines, and kidney: all the throw-aways that were consumed shortly after the Korean War. But the food is excellent and the vibe is 💯 local and genuine; this is the type of place you need to visit if you want old-school Korean vibes without breaking the bank.
