Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is another revered stupa of the people of Chiang Mai, located in the vicinity of Doi Suthep District. According to the legend of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, which houses the relic of the Buddha's hair, it is an important pilgrimage site of the temple that is over 1,000 years old. Before the restoration, it was newly built with reinforced concrete, 30 meters high, covering the original structure. The top part is dazzlingly colorful, making it stand out tall, and allowing visitors to admire the beauty of the pagoda on the hillside. In the area, there is also a skywalk viewpoint and a large statue of Luang Por Tan Jai. Anyone passing through this area is recommended to come and pay respects for good fortune.
