There are typical Manchu palace-style buildings, traditional northern dwellings, a combination of Chinese and Western buildings, and cave dwellings with corridors built according to the terrain. The more than 30 courtyards in Yanfu Manor are both rigorous and orderly and rich in changes, with a distinctive northern Shanxi local style. To the south of the garden, close to the Second Old Master’s Mansion, there is an exquisite tiled building with two connected courtyards at the front and back. This is the famous Governor’s Mansion. In the northeast corner of the backyard of the Governor's Mansion, there is a small courtyard, in which stands the second high-rise building of the Yan Mansion - the first floor. Every time Yan Xishan was promoted, he would build a house. This first floor is the masterpiece that he was most satisfied with. 🏠🏠🏠The front of this building leads to the Governor's Mansion, and the back is connected to the second courtyard of East Garden by a tunnel. At the tunnel exit, bats are flying, auspicious clouds are floating, and three big characters "It works" are clustered together, all of which are stone carvings.
